Marine & Coastal
Sailer Environmental Inc. provides extensive
services to the marine industry, from developing
Facility Response Plans for petroleum and
hazardous material marine terminals to stormwater
monitoring for marinas and boatyards. SEI
can also assist clients in responding to
spills or other emergency situations and
can implement and oversee spill response
actions. Whether we are on-scene or working
from our offices, SEI's staff can assist
in ensuring that all required notifications
are made to the proper regulating agencies,
assist in the mobilization of response contractors,
and document a private party's response
activities during an emergency. SEI can
also assist a responsible party in minimizing
its liability and costs by acting as a liaison
between the responsible party and the government's
On-Scene Coordinator(s) and other affected
parties.
SEI is also well suited to manage all of
the unique environmental compliance needs
of marinas and boatyards. Our staff has
been involved in developing the Connecticut
Clean Marina Program and can walk clients
through the process of environmental compliance
and the process of Clean Marina certification.
