Site Investigations
Sailer Environmental, Inc. has an experienced
staff of professional geologists, hydrogeologists
and environmental scientists who will assess
soil and ground water quality, evaluate
the distribution and movement of contaminants
and provide rational interpretations of,
and comparisons to, regulatory standards.
SEI has performed subsurface investigations
at a variety of sites ranging in size and
complexity from small commercial or industrial
properties to large chemical manufacturing
and repackaging facilities. These investigations
have been used as part of site development
actions, tank closures, investigation and
closure of RCRA storage facilities, responses
to regulatory orders and as precursors to
site remediation.
Typically SEI is called upon to prepare
work plans, sampling plans, quality assurance
project plans and safety plans for site
investigations, remedial investigations
and feasibility studies. An integral part
of our service is an assessment and formulation
of soil and ground water clean-up objectives
and identification of alternatives to comply
with federal and state regulations. We have
conducted site investigations in diverse
geologic settings, including glaciolacustrine
deposits, valley train and stratified drift
deposits, till, and bedrock. We have extensive
experience with the assessment of soil and
ground water impacted by hydrocarbons, industrial
solvents, metals, pesticides, PCBs and sodium
chloride.
SEI
relies on a variety of qualified and licensed
independent contractors and testing laboratories
for field support and analytical services.
We maintain strict adherence to OSHA standards
on every job site and employ project specified
quality assurance /quality control (QA/QC)
and sampling procedures during all phases
of sample collection.
