Site Assessments

Sailer Environmental, Inc. routinely provides Site Assessment services to financial institutions, attorneys, industrial and commercial clients involved in property transactions. SEI has performed hundreds of Site Assessments throughout the continental United States, ranging in size and complexity from small commercial properties to large chemical manufacturers. SEI's Site Assessments, performed in accordance with the standards prescribed by the American Society for Testing of Materials Standard Practice for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments E-1527-05/1528-06, are thorough and designed with a sensitivity to our clients’ limits of time and cost.

Phase I Site Assessments typically include the following:

  • A "walk-through" site inspection
  • Review of available information from state and federal regulatory agencies
  • Review of facility permits and records
  • Inventory of hazardous substances and wastes on-site
  • Determination of surrounding land uses
  • Review of past and present site operations
  • Review of past and present manufacturing operations
  • Assessment of former and present underground storage tanks

SEI also provides additional Site Assessment services at a client’s request or to comply with applicable state environmental regulations such as the Connecticut Property Transfer Act or the New Jersey Industrial Site Recovery Act.
